May is Melanoma Awareness Month

May is Melonoma Awareness Month.

Each year there are more new cases of skin cancer than the combined incidence of cancers of the breast, prostate, lung and colon cancer.

One in five Americans will develop skin cancer in the course of a lifetime.  About 90 percent of non-melanoma skin cancers are associated with exposure to ultraviolet (UV) radiation from the sun.

Do you want to know how many of these skin cancers begin?  They often begin back in the early teen years when we become so concerned with sunbathing and tanning beds!  Repeated years of sun exposure will eventually show their effects.  Whether it's by premature aging and wrinkles or the much more serious consequence of skin cancer, you can be assured that prolonged sun exposure will harm your skin.   It's not if, but when.

One thing I LOVE about Willing Beauty is that it's helping me not only diminish any signs of aging, but all reduce my chances of skin cancer with this one little product:

This tinted face primer gives me just the right glow and is perfect under makeup or on its own.  And its 30 SPF is perfect for protecting my skin from sun damage.

Coupled with the entire HY + 5 Regimen, I know that I'm taking the BEST possible care of my skin with the best possible ingredients.

I'm encouraging my almost ten year old daughter to Start Young and Stay Young with the Willa skincare line from Willing Beauty.
Her Face the Day Lotion ALSO has SPF 30 protection.  Protecting her skin makes me feel like a great mom.  And I know she'll thank me for helping her start good habits at a young age!

Ready to protect yours and your daughter's skin?  Check out the Hy + 5 Regimen and the Willa Regimen on my Willing Beauty site!
